A walk in Bolton Abbey Woods

Last Sunday we took advantage of a break in Ilkley to walk along the River Wharfe in Bolton Abbey Woods which is an excellent place for birdwatching and for walking.

In winter Mandarin Ducks congregate in quite large numbers along this stretch. I've seen up to eighty.

There's always a Robin around.
